The fund’s investment objective is to provide investors with an absolute return by taking both long and short positions in equities issued by companies globally. The Portfolio will be actively managed and will invest all or part of the net proceeds of Shares in (i) transferable securities (ii) exchange traded and OTC financial derivative instruments, (iii) money market instruments, (iv) other collective investment schemes and (v) deposits, cash or cash equivalents. The Portfolio invests principally in equity or equity linked securities (including cash equities) and financial derivative instruments.
